Washing Your Dinnerware

Dishwasher Guidelines

  • Place on the top rack with space between pieces
  • Use a gentle or china cycle when available
  • Avoid high-heat drying cycles
  • Use a mild, phosphate-free detergent

Hand Washing (Recommended for Fine China)

  • Use warm (not hot) water with mild dish soap
  • Wash one piece at a time to prevent chipping
  • Use a soft sponge or cloth — avoid abrasive scrubbers
  • Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft towel

Never use these on your Lenox dinnerware:

  • Steel wool or abrasive scrubbers
  • Bleach or harsh chemicals
  • Citrus-based cleaners

Storing Your Dinnerware

Stacking Plates

  • Place felt, foam, or paper dividers between plates
  • Stack no more than 6-8 plates to avoid pressure damage
  • Stack like sizes together (dinner with dinner, etc.)

Cups & Bowls

  • Hang cups on hooks or store right-side up
  • Don't stack cups inside each other
  • Store bowls nested with dividers between
